Corrosion resistance and main usage environment:
The corrosion resistance of Monel400 is generally superior to nickel copper. It is more resistant to corrosion in reducing media and oxidizing media than pure nickel, and has excellent corrosion resistance to sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and carbon. At the same time, it has better corrosion resistance in seawater than copper based alloys.
Supporting welding materials and welding process: It is recommended to use AWS A5.14 welding wire ERNiCu-7 or AWS A5.11 welding rod EniCrCu-7 for the welding of MONEL400 alloy. The welding material dimensions include Φ 2.4, 3.2, 4.0, originating from SMC and German nickel in the United States. Welding processes and instructions are welcome to contact us for assistance.
